For over 30 years H-I-S Paint Manufacturing Company has produced the highest quality paints and coatings in the industry. We know that our products are top quality because we oversee every aspect of the development and production. As a custom manufacturer we can produce coatings for any application requested. H-I-S Paint has two manufacturing facilities as well as our own research and development labs and quality control facility.

Our R&D Lab serves two basic functions: 1) New Product Development and 2) Product Maintenance. New product lines are created in the lab as well as customized products requested by our customers. Product maintenance involves regulatory compliance in existing products, testing of new raw materials, as well as testing and comparison of competitive products. Our Quality Control ensures consistency in tint strength, weight per gallon, viscosity, pH, grind, color, adhesion, gloss, dry time etc. in every product that is made.

Our manufacturing facilities are housed in two separate state of the art factories. Our main factory produces all of our water-based (latex) paints, while all of the solvent-based (alkyd) paints and coatings are produced at our second facility. Production capability ranges from 5-gallon specialty batches up to 2000-gallon production batches. The strength of our production facilities lies in our deep commitment to customer service. Our flexible production schedule along with a turn around time that cannot be matched allows us to provide unequaled service while producing the highest quality product.
